I couldn't find a better name to title my impressions after watching this movie with the same name (click).
So... the film is directed by Michel Gondry, main actors are Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet.
The movie is describing a couple (Joel and Clementine) that are weary of their relationship. The story actually beginns when they met on a train. They qiuckly remind that they had met each other already before and began a conversation. Then they get closer and closer and after a relative little time they become much more than some two strangers. They decide to live together, to marry each other, to get children. But after time the flames of love began to fade, they became to be tired of their relationship, eventually they can stand each other.
Someday, when Joel was home with his parents, he gets to see a some kind of confirmation telling Clementine has veritable erased him from his mind. So, a company that works at erasing memory has chased all connections with him away. Broken down and joyless also Joel went to this company and let them to do the same operation to him, to clean every memory that reminds him on Clementine. The story goes on with showing how Joel is fighting against this people that have caused them truly brain damage with this erasing of memories. But he is fighting while he is under the operation lying on the bed connected to a machine that's erasing the pieces of his mind.
... The point is that these people are erasing his mind so long as he is walking on same kind of road of his real memories. When he realized what they are doing he began to make new memories. He takes Clementine deeper in his mind to escape the operation. So he is telling her about the things he never told her, cause he was ashamed or afraid. Cause this actually was the problem. He allways walked away to hide in his world, cause he had the feeling to be someone insignificant and was ashamed to share his thoughts with anybody. This was the reason that he lost her. At the end they realize that and came together, fortunately :) ... but the message the story tells is how destructive can it be when people hiding before problems, when they're afraid. Destructive cause they lose something that may would be beautiful und unforgetable if they weren't.

And someone said he like kids cause they don't know shame or lies. Their world is not sly with fear. Sometimes i think that the exceptions of mistakes help me to understand that fear or shame is something i really don't need, something i should ignore... cause there are more important things... things that can't wait...
